Atlantean
Free
This model was obtained from an Atlantean that can be found in the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. This type of figure supported a table or altar in the Temple of the Jaguars at Chichén Itza (Yucatán). Its Toltec characteristics demonstrate the existing relations between Tula and Chichén Itza. It is thought that they represented warriors due to the differences in their pectoral bands, loincloths and ornaments. The original belongs to the Early Postclassic Period and is dated between 1000 and 1250 AD.
