The original artwork is dated between the mid of the XIXth century and the beginning of the XXth century and was part of the old Rouch collection (Brussels). This sculpture was scanned by Artmonite by photogrammetry during the exhibition that took place in the "Círculo de Bellas Artes" of Madrid, titled "Metamorphosis of the Being: Representations of the Head in Central and Western Africa".
