Von Zumbusch (Caspar) – Ludwig Van Beethoven

3,50

The current model is that of the most famous Beethoven monument of the second half of the 19th century, created by the German sculptor Caspar Clemens von Zumbusch (1830-1915) in Vienna. It represents Beethoven as a hero and expresses the meaning of his art with a large number of allegorical characters. The composer sits high up, away from the viewer at whom he looks, in a pose similar to that used by Michelangelo for his Moses.
