Iron Maiden – Powerslave
€4,00
This model is based on the cover art of Powerslave, the fifth studio album by Iron Maiden, released in 1984. Powerslave stands out for its cover designed by Derek Riggs, the band’s regular illustrator, and features Eddie portrayed as an Egyptian pharaoh, presiding over a massive pyramid-temple. The image connects with the album’s lyrics, which explore themes of war, ambition, mortality, and power. The cover includes a large number of hidden hieroglyphs and coded messages that reference the members of the band, their manager Rod Smallwood, and even internal jokes. Its Egyptian aesthetic directly influenced the stage design of the World Slavery Tour.
