Motörhead – Motörhead
€4,00
This model is based on the cover of the album Motörhead , the official debut of the British band Motörhead. This release marked the beginning of the group’s raw and fast-paced sound, which would later influence the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Released on August 21, 1977, by Chiswick Records, the record blends hard rock, proto-thrash, and punk attitude, featuring tracks such as “Motörhead” and “White Line Fever.” The cover artwork, illustrated by artist Joe Petagno, introduced for the first time the iconic “Snaggletooth” (also known as “War-Pig”), a hybrid creature with fangs, chains, and a military helmet, combining features of a dog, gorilla, and wild boar. The high-contrast black-and-white image became the band’s permanent visual emblem and one of the most recognizable symbols in heavy metal. The model has been reworked by Artmonite to allow it to be printed as a single object, avoiding separate parts.
