Pixies – Bossanova

This model is based on Bossanova, the third studio album by Pixies. The record was released in 1990 by the labels 4AD (United Kingdom) and Elektra Records (United States), and produced by Gil Norton. It was recorded primarily in Los Angeles and is characterized by a more polished sound than the band’s previous work, incorporating elements of surf rock and lyrics focused on science fiction, UFOs, and outer space. The cover was designed by Simon Larbalestier, a regular collaborator with 4AD. The model has been reworked by Artmonite for printing as a single object.
