Perdiz (Lucía) – Itínere

4,00

This model is based on a work located in Belvís Park, created in 2015 by Lucía Perdiz Dávila. In May 2014, a collaboration agreement was signed between the Santiago City Council and the Mestre Mateo School of Art and Design, which facilitated the installation of this and other student sculptures in Belvís Park. It was part of a complementary activity of the different modules of the Advanced Degree in Applied Arts to Sculpture and consists of sculptural pieces designed to be displayed in public spaces, among them “Itinere”. Located on the stairway that connects to the upper area of Belvís Park, this iron sculpture represents human effort to reach a goal, through a piece designed so that people can walk alongside it and establish a dialogue with the figures. For this model, the stairway has been reconstructed respecting its original dimensions, and instead of keeping the three original cubes, only the first one has been included to make the sculpture more compact. This model was photogrammetrically captured by Artmonite during a visit to Santiago in 2025.
