AC/DC – For those about to Rock

4,00

This model is based on the cover of the album For Those About to Rock (We Salute You), the eighth international studio album by AC/DC. The record, recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau (Bahamas), was released in 1981 following the success of Back in Black and was produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange. This work consolidated the lineup consisting of Brian Johnson, Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd. The album takes its title from the Latin expression “Ave Caesar, morituri te salutant,” and its cover features a long-range naval artillery cannon in metallic tones against a black background, with the band’s name at the top and the title in red letters below. The design was created by the graphic studio of Atlantic Records and references the use of real cannons during live performances of the title track, a staging element used by the band during the tours associated with the album.
