Kraftwerk – Computer World
€4,00
This model comes from the cover of Computer World (1981), one of Kraftwerk ’s most emblematic albums and a key work in the history of electronic music. Conceived by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider together with Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Flür in their Kling Klang studio in Düsseldorf, the record revolves around the growing presence of computers and digital communication. One of its most notable aspects is its cover, designed by Emil Schult, a fundamental artistic collaborator in shaping Kraftwerk’s visual identity. The design is clean, rational, and modern. Schult succeeded in visually synthesizing the idea that the computer would become the new center of society, and over time, the cover has become a cultural icon symbolizing the birth of the digital age.
