Megadeth – Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying

This model is based on the cover of the album Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying?, released in 1986 by Megadeth. The album by this band, led by Dave Mustaine after his departure from Metallica, is considered a fundamental work of thrash metal due to its technical sound and its lyrics filled with social and political criticism during the height of the Cold War. The record includes tracks such as Peace Sells and Wake Up Dead, and its iconic cover, illustrated by Ed Repka, features the mascot Vic Rattlehead in front of a landscape devastated by nuclear war, with a ruined building inspired by the United Nations headquarters.
