Judas Priest – Screaming for Vengeance

This model was created based on the cover of the album Screaming for Vengeance by Judas Priest. It is the eighth studio album by the British band and was released on July 1, 1982, by Columbia Records. This record marked their major commercial breakthrough in North America, where it was certified double platinum in the United States and platinum in Canada. The album includes some of the band’s most iconic songs, such as “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,” which became one of their biggest hits on radio and in live concerts. One of the most iconic elements of Screaming for Vengeance is its cover artwork, designed by Doug Johnsonunder the artistic direction of John Berg at Columbia Records. The image depicts a metallic eagle diving downward, popularly known as “The Hellion.” The choice of the metallic eagle was no coincidence: Rob Halford, the band’s vocalist, was inspired by the symbol of the American bald eagle, reinterpreting it as an imposing and vengeful figure.
