Queen – A Kind of Magic

This model was based on the cover of the album A Kind of Magic, released by Queen in 1986 as the band’s twelfth studio album. The record includes songs such as A Kind of Magic, Friends Will Be Friends, Who Wants to Live Forever, and Princes of the Universe, several of which are related to the film Highlander. As for the album cover, the sleeve design was created by Richard Gray, while the main illustration was produced by the artist Roger Chiasson. Mike Smith and Chuck Gamage also contributed other illustrations to the graphic project, Jenny Robinson was responsible for the color work, and Peter Hince provided the photographs. The cover features Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon in an illustrated, caricature-like representation. The four members appear against a dark background, accompanied by graphic elements that refer to fantasy and the album’s themes. The model was created by Artmonite with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
