This model is based on the cover artwork of The Battle Rages On of Deep Purple, widely regarded as one of the band's most representative albums of the 1990s. Released in 1993, it marked a return to the classic hard rock sound that had made the band famous. One of the album's most distinctive features is its cover artwork, which depicts a dragon coiled around Deep Purple's "DP" logo. The dragon has two opposing heads, a detail that is often interpreted as symbolizing the tension between Ian Gillan and Ritchie Blackmore during the recording of the album. The cover artwork was created by James Grashow, a renowned American illustrator and sculptor.
